Intro to climbing
A program geared towards people who are just getting started.
Would you like to get more comfortable on the wall? Do you want to learn the basic techniques and tactics to get your climbing started on the right foot? We have this great class, a friendly atmosphere and welcoming community to help get your started. This program consists of 4 classes per month running every Tuesday starting on the first Tuesday of each month at the Banks location. We also have the same program running on Thursdays at the Hill Security location. Classes are one hour long and include rentals if you need them. Adult program (ages 13yrs and up) runs from 6pm-7pm and cost $100 for the 4 sessions (or $80 as a member). Youth program (ages 8-12yrs) runs from 5pm-6pm and costs $100 for the 4 sessions (or $80 for non members). YOUTH Programming
Active youth/kids in your family? Gneiss Climbing is now offering youth programming starting in September. Our youth program is aimed at developing the core competencies of climbing; problem solving and decision making, movement and technique, strength, fun and teamwork. This program is for all abilities and experience levels. Instructors will tailor the program to the needs of participants to ensure the growth and progression of all athletes. Ages 6-12yrs, Program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30pm - 5.30pm. You can sign up to participate in both sessions per week (recommended). $175. Alternatively you can choose one of the days (Tues or Thurs) and sign up for 1 day per week ($115). Both options include a membership.
